Dear All,

Hope the below procedure will help all who are using Sun Direct DTH Service in India.

On July 07, 2010 a power glitch in the INSAT 4B  satellite turned down the DTH system partly and SUN Direct announced that the service will be free till whole services are restored.The partial service was restored on INSAT 4B with 193 channels and meantime SUN Direct is now transmitting 173 channels on MEASAT-3 for uninterrupted transition of its customers from INSAT 4B at 93.5°E. to MEASAT-3 at 91.5°E.  


Realignment process of the Dish Antenna:


You need to rotate it about 2mm (0.2 cm) on Clock wise direction.

Modify the settings in the TV as below:

1. Go to Menu and select “Advanced Actions” option and press OK.
   
2. Select “Home Transponder Setting” and press OK on the remote.
   
3. Pop up window display on the screen “Enter PIN Code” default password is “0000”
   
4. “Home Transponder setting” menu option below:
   Network ID – Don’t change
   Frequency (MHz) – Need Change (Change to 12316)
   Symbol rate (Msym/s) – Need Change (Change to 30000)
   LO Low (MHz) – Don’t change
   LO High (MHz) – Don’t change
   LNB Power – Don’t change
   Polarization – Need Change (Change to Horizontal/Left) >> Try to select other options if its not working for you
   Position – Don’t change
   
   
5. Enter the all details using Numeric key on the remote.
   
6. Press OK to see the “Signal Status” for new parameters and press exit twice.
   
7. Select “Channel Installation” and its shows “Enter PIN Code” default password is “0000”
   
8. In this Menu see the “Signal Status” and “Signal Strength” and selected Parameters details.
   
9. Press “Red color” key on the remote for “Search”
   
10. After scanning it shows “Do you want to save” select “Yes” and press Exit.
